In addition to being a Queensland Medical graduate, Dr Beaver is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgeons. He has 20 years experience in the treatment of venous disease (varicose veins), including ambulatory surgery, sclerotherapy and laser, and is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Phlebology. With an ongoing involvement in the various forms of laser treatment, he is also a member of the International College of Laser Surgery and is certified in laser surgery and medicine.
Dr Beaver's current cosmetic practice is focused on medical and surgical procedures that are able to be performed using local anaesthetic or mild sedation only. These include vein surgery, sclerotherapy, liposculpture, eyelid surgery, stitch lifts and surgical treatment of skin lesions.
