Dr Novak has had an interest in skin disease and skin care since graduating from the University of Qld in 1987. She has trained in this field at many of Brisbane's major hospitals and furthered her experience at a number of national advanced training courses and best practice conferences.
Dr Novak brings 15 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin disorders to the Cozmedics group. In addition she has a wide, medically orientated knowledge base in the understanding and implementation of skin improvement and refinement.
The management of acne is a particular favourite, together with the broader range of treatments available for a number of cosmetic concerns. Dr Novak also has a special interest in mole surveillance and the management of skin cancers, using both non-surgical and surgical methods of treatment.
