Mole Removal by Radiosurgery

Radiosurgery is used to remove or "shave down" lumps above the skin such as moles warts or skin tags. It provides an excellent cosmetic result particularly involving the back or face where scarring can be a problem.

Radiosurgery is the use of a device that produces radiowaves to perform cutting and /or cautery -the machine is the Ellman's surgitron. The great benefit of this technique is there is less heat damage to surrounding tissue resulting in faster healing and better cosmetic results than other surgical approaches. Radiosurgery can perform incisions similar to that of a laser; however it can be done at a fraction of the cost.

Whilst radiosurgey has many advantages it is not feasible for every condition or lesion.
