Invisible sun damage

By The COZmedics Team - Thursday, 21 August 2014

Thomas Leveritt a US photographer decided to show some volunteers what they looked like in ultraviolet (UV) light using a special filter and camera set-up in a park in Brooklyn, New York.

The results are astonishing. To the naked eye you may look like you have perfect skin but under UV light it's another story.

Remember the sun does not discriminate! No matter how little your exposure is during the day you can still get burnt. Protect your skin and wear a good quality SPF sunscreen. We recommend the Actinica SPF50+ sunscreen which is available in clinic and provides broad spectrum protection and provides 4 hours water resistance.
