What is a Reduction Mammoplasty ?

Breast Reduction or Reduction Mammoplasty is a major surgical procedure to reduce the breast size in cases of large uncomfortable breasts. In addition to cosmetic indications, there are a few definite medical indications as well. These include recurrent infections with skin breakdown under the breast fold, heavy uncomfortable breasts, back and neck pain, bra strap marks with or without skin ulceration.

Who is suitable ?

Women of ages 18 - 60 years with good general health and preferably having had no previous similar surgery on breasts e.g nipple lift are suitable candidates.
