Skin redness is a visible symptom of rosacea, blushing/flushing and broken capillaries. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition which can subside but you can also experience flare-ups which mainly affects the face. Blushing can be a symptom of Rosacea or it can also occur as an uncontrolled reflex to stress. Blushing/Flushing can become severe and persist affecting the face, neck and décolletage.

Broken capillaries are usually prominent in the nose and cheek areas. The capillaries can be aggravated by many factors including smoking, medications, sunburn and extreme temperature changes. Other causes of skin redness can include allergic reactions, inflammation or infections which may need medical attention.
